Lok Sabha Polls 2019: Atishi melt down over offensive Pamphlet controversy, AAP Blames Gautam Gambhir

New Delhi: The AAP party has accused veteran cricketer Gautam Gambhir of a derogatory pamphlet on their candidate Atishi. AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal reacted with a tweet saying “Never imagined Gautam Gambhir to stoop so low”
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate, Atishi from east Delhi meltdown at a press conference on Thursday as the AAP party accused the BJP rival Gautam Gambhir of advertising a derogatory and groundless pamphlet on their East Delhi candidate Atishi ahead of the voting in Delhi on Sunday.
Atishi has serious concerns to Gautam Gambhir’s candidature stating he had voter ID cards from two constituencies. AAP also said it the alleged pamphlet spread by the BJP party was full of personal grudges.
Arvind Kejriwal has backed his party candidate and further tweeted saying “Never imagined Gautam Gambhir to stoop so low. How can women expect safety if people wid such mentality are voted in? Atishi, stay strong. I can imagine how difficult it must be for u. It is precisely this kind of forces we have to fight against”
The AAP party Deputy Manish Sisodia said the dialect used in the pamphlet was so derogative & abusive that anyone who reads it will feel ashamed.
AAP after that in a series of tweets responded: “If you have the strength, do read this pamphlet of BJP's Gautam Gambhir being distributed in East Delhi societies”.
