Indian-Origin Jeweller Awarded for his Bravery following the Arrest of Robbers

Jeweller Owner who just rewarded: was in April last year, the 3 robbers during the raid had him coerced by way of using fake security industry ID cards to get their way into the shop saying they needed to carry out the surveillance (CCTV) check.

An Indian native jeweller owner was honored with a bravery award for helping the police get their hands on robbers who gagged him at his store in Birmingham last year in the month of April.
The Jeweller owner Chouhan Pal was given the West Midlands Police Chief Constable Good Citizen’s award previous week for his courageous act when robbers assaulted him using duct tape and ties bound on his “Dubai Jewellers shop”.
"Despite being assaulted, you displayed courage and took the risk to set the alarm off and trap the offenders inside the building with you," Chief Constable Dave Thompson told Pal, in his 50s.
"Your quick-thinking actions and bravery allowed three offenders who had committed a robbery in the jeweller's shop you own to be detained and arrested," he said.
During the raid, robbers tricked their way by the use of fake security industry ID badges.
Mr Pal was able to hit off the alarm button with his shoulder engaging the robbers in the locked out shop and triggering a smoke cloak.
After that robber's clamor for front door keys, but he used this position to give them key by a holding area at the front door where he sets off the automatic release to imprison them there.
A peddler by near hear the plea for help and let the men out thinking it was a fire.
But police timely arrival and passers-by & Chouhan helped the police catch them again.
All 3 robbers were found guilty at the Birmingham Crown Court and prison for 14, 12 and nine- a half- years respectively last year.
