A topper of Class 10 ,student of GD Birla School in Kolkata was found dead with her wrist slit ,there were many marks on her left wrist and a plastic bag wrapped around her head inside a washroom of the school in afternoon of Friday.The head of the school informed the police of Ranikuthi area about the girl, a topper of her class. She was immediately taken to a nearby area's hospital where doctors declared her "Dead".
A three-page suicide note was found at the spot where she was found dead and the note reveals that she was under great pressure and was not able to sleep from last three months. As she was the topper of the class she was always very keen to get through to the Indian Statistical Institute. As her face was covered with a plastic sheet and blades were found beside here. It is too early to comment on the matter,whether it is murder or suicide. All the seized items were sent for a postmortem examination. Examination of the CCTV footage is also carried out.And the reason behind this case will be investigated as soon as possible.
