Due to a massive fire breakout in Delhi earlier this morning, the public is still scared a lot. The fire broke out in a furniture shop on Friday morning near Kalindi Kunj metro station. The fire was reported at 5:55 AM this morning. The reason for the fire breakout has not been yet known but it has surely affected the metro services in magenta line that too, in the peak office hours. Nobody was luckily hurt due the the fire incident.
Also, the passengers were adviced to take the blue for Noida instead of Magenta line as the trains between Jasola Vihar Shaheen Bagh and Kalindi Kunj were terminated for today. "Train movement has been stopped temporarily between Jasola Vihar Shaheen Bagh and Kalindi Kunj due to smoke and fire from a fire underneath the section.
We regret the inconvenience," DMRC wrote on Twitter in the morning and later said, "Short loops are being run between Janak Puri West and Jasola Vihar Shaheen Bagh. No service between Kalindi Kunj and Botanical Garden temporarily." However, services between Jasola Vihar Shaheen Bagh and Botanical Garden has now been resumed.
