As your ears hear Idli a delicious dish of Idli with Chutney appears in our mind but after hearing this news you all will forget to eat Idlis. The Idli chutney vendor the one who sells idli sambar on the railway station was seen using tap water from the Borivali Railway Station to prepare the chutney. The video of the vendor filling the water in can from the toilet tap had went viral and was widely shared over the social media to show how this vendors prepare this food-item and how we hungry Mumbaikars eat it with all their five-fingers dipped in it, without thinking it even for second how this item must be prepared.

 

When the video was seen by Food and Drug Adminstration (FDA) they gave a public warning that no vendor will be using such contaminated water for preparing any eating items. They also said that we will have the further enquiry with all the vendors selling idli and other such items on the station. Shailesh Adhav of FDA branch says “Due to such malpractice, people health will be affected severly and can lead to problem like dehydration ”. As such water is not good for the humans body eating consuming such items can affect the human health.
