Due to a fire at market, metro service on the magenta line affected. Furniture market near the Kalindi Kunj got caught in a fire which has affected Metro service on the magenta line. On Friday, a fire started at a furniture market near the Kalindi Kunj Metro Station in New Delhi. However, no report of any harm to life has come out yet, as per the fire services officials.
''The fire was reported at 5.55 a.m., and 17 fire tenders were immediately rushed to the spot," said Atul Garg, Director, Delhi Fire Services.
The officials along with the fire repressing machines are working to hold down the fire. Officials have also that no train will be running between Shaheen Bagh and Botanical Garden on the magenta line as per the precaution for preserving life and property from the fire. The halt on the train will contain till the fire is brought under control and is of no danger to anyone.
