NIA arrests Kerala-based Islamic State terror plotter.

According to the agency, he was closely following the speeches of key accused in the Sri Lanka suicide bombings, Zahran Hashim, for over a year.
During today's interrogation, Riyas said he has been in touch with Abdul Rashid Abdulla, alias Abu Isa, for a long time and has been following his audio clips, including one where he instigates his followers to carry out an attack in India.
Riyas further revealed that he was in contact with Abdul Khayoom, alias Abu Khalid, who is accused of the Valapattanam IS case; he was also believed to be in Syria for some time.

On Sunday, NIA carried out raids at three places - two in Kasargod and one in Palakkad district. The investigative agency interrogated them to find out whether they have any links to the Islamic State.
