  1. After entering the page, click “secondary school examination ( Class X ) 2019”
  2. Enter the roll number, D.O.B, school No., Center No., Admit card ID.
  3. Select Submit.
  4. Download your result for future reference.

The result was announced around 2.00 pm 6th May 2019.

  • 25 second rank holders scoring 498 out of 500.
  • 59 third rank holders scoring 497 out of 500.
  • Above 95% - 57,256 students.
  • More than 90% and within 95% - 2,25,143 students.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appreciated those have passed the 10th examination on his twitter page.

Around 18,27,472 students have registered for the exam which was conducted at 6,000 centers across India. The Overall pass Percentage is 91.10% which is 4.40% higher than last year’s overall pass percentage of 86.70%.

 

With a pass percentage of 92.45% girls are ahead of boys again this year. Transgender students with a pass percentage of 94.74% are ahead of both boys and girls. Last but not least boys have the lowest pass percentage of 90.14%.

 

Pass Percentage by Region

 

  • Trivandrum – 99.85% ( Highest pass percentage)
  • Chennai – 99% (second highest pass percentage)
  • Delhi – 80.97 (second from last)
  • Guwahati – 74.49 (Last)

 

Last year 16.38 lakh students appeared in the exam and the overall pass percentage was 86.07%.

 

After interviewing one of the students who has attended the 10th cbse exam, he quoted that

  • English was easy. 40 marks of it are prose & poem oriented and the rest 60 marks are grammar.
  • Hindi was nominal. Expected were found.
  • Math was on the tougher side. Students had to take reference from Oxwall and RD Sharma Books apart from NCRT.
  • Science was very difficult. The topics were heavier and a lot to cover.
  • Social science was also nominal like Hindi.
