kane williamson half century sets up comfortable win for new zealand


An unbeaten half-century by captain Kane Williamson helped new Zealand to comfortably win the match against Afghanistan in the cricket world cup on Saturday.


The Kiwis were very much comfortable in chasing the run against the match of Afghanistan. despite losing two wickets early the captain was very much comfortable and he put up a hundred run partnership with the Ross Taylor and got the win in 17 overs to spare.


Earlier fine bowling by Jimmy neesham and Lockie Ferguson helped new Zealand dismiss Afghanistan for 172
