Fernando torres retires fro football


Fernando Torres who made his name at Atletico Madrid before enjoying a fruitful career in England with Liverpool and then Chelsea. he was one of the main reasons for Spain's euro successes in 2008 and 2012. Spain's world cup winning striker Fernando Torres announced his retirement from football on Friday bringing 18 glorious years to an end.



He has scored more than 100 goals across two spells at his clubs like liverpool, Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, and AC milan too. he left atletico madrid to join sagan tsu in july last year but has struggled to bring his glory days back. He mde his debut for spain in 2003 and scored a winning goal against germany in 2008 europen championship final and was an integral part of worldcup 2010. He enjoyd his profolic spell at liverpool between 2007 and 2011 netting 81 goals in142 games across all competitions.
