There are some of the fruits and healthier foods which help in improving the immune system that helps in preventing the problem of coronavirus which are as given below-


Citrus Fruits – A large amount of vitamin C is present in citrus fruits. Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that is essential for increases the resistance of our body to infection and helps in the fight against several diseases. It supports the function of various immune cells and increases the capability for protecting against viral infections and also essential for cellular death that helps to maintain the immune system by removing old cells and regenerate new cells. Oxidative stress has adverse effects on the immune system which is associated with several diseases. There are some of the popular citrus fruits which can be used for improving immunity such as oranges, grapefruit, limes, lemons, and tangerines.


Garlic – It can be commonly used for flavor in several popular dishes that help to fight against infection which improves immunity as per the study. Garlic is necessary for reducing blood pressure and slowing down the hardening of arteries.


Spinach – A large amounts of vitamin C, beta carotene, and other antioxidants are present in spinach which are beneficial to improve the immunity of the body by protecting against several infections. Ginger is also beneficial in minimizing nausea, reducing cholesterol levels in the body and decreases chronic pain. It contains zinc, chromium, and magnesium that are beneficial in lowering blood pressure. Ginger also used in lowering sugar levels in the blood due to anti-diabetic properties in ginger.


Papaya – There is a large amount of vitamin C that is present in papaya which is necessary for increases the resistance of our body to infection and helps in the fight against several diseases. It also contains papain which is a digestive enzyme are used in lowering the inflammation. This fruit is beneficial for slowing down the development of type-II diabetes. It also used in the treatment of bronchitis, jaundice, and many other illnesses.


Almonds – It contains a large amount of vitamin E which is essential in improving the immune system. Vitamin E is also necessary for normal functioning, of muscles, protection of liver and normal reproduction. Almond also contains a large amount of magnesium which helps in lowering the blood pressure. It also helps in lowering the sugar level in the blood is good for health.


Kiwi – It contains several nutrients such as folate, potassium, vitamin K, and vitamin C. Vitamin C is necessary to produce white blood cells for protecting against antigens. There are other nutrients are found in the fruit that helps in maintaining a proper balance in the immune system of the person.


Green tea – Due to oxidant property it lowers the risk of different types of cancers such as breast cancer, liver cancer, lung cancer, skin cancer, and pancreas cancer as per the study. It also helps in decreasing blood pressure, cholesterol, and weight loss lowering the risk of heart attacks. L-theanine and amino acid are also present in green tea that improves the brain functions and also can produce germ-fighting compounds.


Broccoli – It contains a large amount of vitamin C, phytochemicals, and antioxidants that help to make a strong immune system. Broccoli also contains vitamin E which can help to protect against viruses and bacteria.


Chickpeas – A large amount of protein and amino acid are present in chickpeas which help grow and repair the tissues of the body as per the study. It also contains zinc that helps the immune system control and maintains immune responses as per research.
