(1) Kullu-Manali:

Kullu and Manali, are one of the best places to visit in Himachal Pradesh. These are the most frequented tourist destinations. Kullu valley is also known as the ‘Valley of Gods’ and Manali is located at an altitude of 6726 feet. If you are on a lookout for fresh air and some green mountains amidst the snow-covered ranges then Kullu-Manali indeed should be on the top of your tourist list.

Best time to visit- May-July and November-January.

What to do- Indulge in adventures sports at Solang Valley, Manali Bird Sanctuary, Visit Old temples, Rohtang pass, Beas River, etc.


(2) Shimla- The Capital:

Being one of the most famous hill stations of Northern India, Shimla is the right mix of Indian glory with British sophistication. The stunning beauty of Shimla made Britishers declare this land as their summer capital and you can still see the colonial influence in the city. (3) Kasauli:

Kasauli, also known as the little Israel of India,  is based in the Parvati Valley. It is situated at an altitude of 1927 meters and like a few other places in Himachal Pradesh, gives the evidence of colonial rule. The views from the top of this place are just stunning and eye-popping. Kasauli is just on the way to the holy town of Manikaran.

Best time to visit- May and June

What to do- Kasauli Brewery, Sunset Point, Manki Point, Ideal for hiking in the jungle and trek to Kheerganga would be an amazing experience, etc.

(4)  Chitkul Village:

A village situated in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, Chitkul is India’s last inhabited village before India-China border. With virgin natural beauty, rugged terrain and fresh mountain cooling air, this village is the perfect escape. Chitkul village is not too common amidst travelers yet, and so one can enjoy the scenic beauty in calm and peaceful environs. This village is particularly known for its apple orchards and wooden or slate-roof houses. Mathi temple is the local Goddess of the people here.

What to do- Hike to Charang Chitkul Pass, sit by the Baspa river, etc.


(5) Langza Village:

Langza is a small remote village in Lahaul Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh and known for its ancient monasteries, fossils or marine plants and animals and a gigantic 1000-years old Lord Buddha statue. If you are in this village and passionate about wildlife then don’t worry because you already are in a perfect place. The snow-covered mountains, green pastures, and arid landscapes make this an attractive area.
