Five index India have worse rank, need improvement

Oxfam Inequality Index
Oxfam is a confederation of 20 independent charitable organizations focusing on the alleviation of global poverty, founded in 1942 and led by Oxfam International. It is a major non-profit group with an extensive collection of operations. In this index India's rank 147th out of 157 countries, which is worrisome for India. 


Global Hunger Index
The Global Hunger Index (GHI) is a tool that measures and tracks hunger globally, different region and country. The GHI is calculated annually, and its results appear in a report issued every year. In 2018 India's rank was103 out of 119 countries. its show that healthy food is out of reach on large scale for people. 


Global Peace Index
Global Peace Index (GPI) measures the relative position of the nation's and region's peacefulness. It is a report produced by the Institute for Economics and Peace and developed in consultation with an international panel of peace experts from peace institutes and think tanks with data collected and collated by the Economist Intelligence Unit.in this index India's rank was 141th out of 163 countries. 

 

Press Freedom Index
Press Freedom Index is most important for a democratic country, the index is an annual ranking of countries compiled and published by Reporters Without Borders based upon the organization's own assessment of the countries' press freedom records in the previous year. Its show freedom of the press in country and India is rank was worse in this index,140th out of 180. which indicated that the press does not work well.\

 

World Happiness Report

The World Happiness Report is an annual publication of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network. It makes rankings of national happiness based on respondent ratings of their own lives. In 2018, India was placed on 133 positions, but this year its ranking went down to 140 behind the Pakistan and Nepal and Bhutan.
