Manchester City gathers the first in history- a first ever Billion-Euro squad leaving the likes of Real Madrid and PSG

Manchester City has been growing in power for some time and now one of the Europe top powerhouses winning back to back Premier League titles breaking many records.

The record-breaking champions are not doing just in the pitch but off the pitch they are doing it too. The Premier League holders become the first-ever club in the history of football to gather up a billion-euro-squad as per the reports of CIES Football Observatory.

Manchester City after spending €168million in the summer bringing the likes of Rodri and Joao Cancelo took their spending over €1bn mark.

Manchester City is just followed by the Ligue 1 champions who bring the likes of Idrissa Gueya and Abdou Diallo this summer window. Real Madrid sitting 3rd on the list made a complete squad overhaul with the likes of Hazard, Luka Jovic, Mendy, Eder Militao and Rodryo Goes.

While Manchester United comes 4th on the list, their side is the second most expensive in the Premier League after the record-breaking champions Man City. Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Everton, Tottenham, and Leicester are the other premier league clubs among the top 20.
