Five major civilian roads connecting Secunderabad to North Eastern colonies have been shut for civilians in Secunderabad by the army. The reason given is due to high alert. This shutdown is supposed to continue until four days. These roads cover the entire Bollarum area.
These five roads are Yapral road near Kendriya Vidyalaya, Lake Line Ranges road, Amherst road, Rajendra Sighji road, and Balaclava road. Army has also maintained night restrictions on Gough road, Wellington road, and Allahabad Gate between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. The residents and commuters are left stuck and infuriated as frequent closures of these roads are becoming an annoyance for them.
