Joaquin Walks Out Of The Interview After Being Asked Argumentative Question
In a recent interview, famous Joker star Joaquin Phoenix did walk away from the interview. He was asked if some of the scenes in the movie were eligible to raise violence issues.
The movie is nominated in Oscar. It has won multiple awards in different ceremonies as well. But many of the critics have penned down certain points indicating some of the disturbing scenes in the film like Arthur Fleck's descent into psychosis.
In his interview with The Telegraph, the question came flying towards him. He was asked if he felt that few scenes in the film "might perversely end up inspiring exactly the kind of people it's about, with potentially tragic results". At this, he didn't drop any answer rather left the room. Though the employees of Warner Bros managed to take him back for completing the interview. He did return after an hour.
Phoenix Would Walk "Off-sets"
Another interesting fact has caught our attention. In a recent interview, director Todd Phillips said, Phoenix rather left the set in the middle of a take if he "wasn't feeling it". This left his co stars in worry. “In the middle of the scene, he’ll just walk away and walk out. And the poor other actor thinks it’s them and it was never them. It was always him, and he just wasn’t feeling it.”
The film is R-rated. These issues have jumbled up for a multiple times. Previously he said, “What happens in a lot of movies is that you get numb to it, you’re killing 40,000 people, you don’t feel it. While being a fictional story in a fictional world, you always want it to feel real. Everything that happens in this movie as far as violence goes, you feel it.”
Joker will have it's release on the 4th of October.
