RCB like the previous year IPL has turned around the table this year too making 3 wins out of 3 as they are keen to make top four beating off KXIP by 17 runs in Bengaluru.

But wherever Virat goes, controversies go with him!!

Virat Kohli the Indian Cricket team and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper is well-famous for his aggressive style of playing and it happens to get better off him many times. Yesterday we got to see another antic of him while caught out Ashwin in the last over of the match.

RCB has set the target of 203 runs for KXIP and they are going off fine with requisite pace both KL Rahul and Mayank Aggarwal giving the away team a bolstering start almost 12 runs an over. Everything is going fine for KXIP until the last two overs. The 18th over proves to be a fatal point for KXIP as both Miller and Pooran got out in this over. And now come the final over where all the controversy starts as Ashwin comes out to the crease hitting Umesh Yadav’s first delivery for a six. Hoping for another six Ashwin took off his bat but the pace of the ball got better of him and the ball going off straight to Kohli’s hand stationed at a long-on boundary. After completing the catch, Kohli rather for a sportsmanship gesture gives an animated send off to his fellow Indian counterpart.

After the match, when asked Ashwin about Virat’s little gesture, he actively defending his counterpart saying we both are passionate players quoting “I just play with passion and so does he”.

Concerning the match, RCB continues to keep fighting and challenging as they remain up with 8 points in the table.
