Vidya Balan to essay the role of mathematician Shakuntala Devi in biopic

Yes, you all heard that right. The ace performer and versatile actor Vidya Balan is all set to play the role of celebrated Indian mathematician in an upcoming biopic directed by Anu Menon. This is going to be Vidya Balan”s second Biopic performance after Dirty Picture. On being asked about the opportunity, Vidya expressed her happiness and excitement in portraying it in the mainstream cinema.
The untitled biopic is scheduled to go on production later this year and likely to be released by 2020. The film will be produced by Abundantia Entertainment.

Called as Human Computer, Shakuntala Devi is greatly known for her extraordinary talents in solving various complex mathematical problems.
