YouTube has decided to ban and restrict all the hacking and phishing videos calling them “harmful or dangerous content”. No creator will now be able to make hacking videos and there won't be any access to such videos on YouTube. YouTube has been providing such videos access which has been a reason to peeping into people's private space and getting access to private data.
For this, YouTube has been criticized a lot and has been reportedly losing its business. “Now that there’s a written rule, there’s renewed concern about how the policy is being applied,” The Register reported on Wednesday. Earlier, YouTube had the policy to delete those videos if a number of consumers complained or reported against it. But it never banned those videos until this policy was launched.
