The boy band that was the love of many music lovers has been on a break and led to solo career startups of the members. This is none other than “One Direction”. It is a combination of English and Irish style boy band known for pop style songs. Comprising of the five members, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Zayn Malik. Zayn had dropped the group in 2015 and later the group of four continued for a while and went on hiatus in 2016.
Since 2010, when this group appeared in the seventh series of British televised singing competition “The X factor” and finished it as third. They were then signed by the Syco Records of Simon Cowell. There have been many record breaking work done by them like being the first band to get first four debut albums on the number one in U S Billboard 200, making Midnight Memories the world’s best selling album in 2013, having the highest grossing tour by a band in 2014, by 2017 selling over 50 million records worldwide and many more such achievements. The present status of each former member is different, some are enjoying solo singing career, some are making singles etc. Harry Styles is currently earning the highest among all other bandmates. As per the net worth reports, his estimated net worth is $75 million. He is into fashion world recently and has turned into an impactful part of the same. He had his first solo released after the band went on hiatus and claims to be working on the second. He even tried out his acting skills in “Dunkirk” which was released in 2017.
Other members are also working as solo Artist, Zayn Malik being highly successful and heart stealer with his records like “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever”. Liam Payne is now even a father. Louis Tomlinson hasn’t made any solo but worked in singles. Niall Horan had his successful solo as well as many other songs. All the members are doing great and their fans are eagerly waiting for a breakthrough.
