Hard work definitely pays off!
This was proved when Tanu Tomar, a farmer’s daughter succeeded being the topper of Uttar Pradesh Board. She has broken the 2-year records of the highest score of the 12th board.
This little lady when was asked said her teachers' believe in her and her will power towards achieving something big has made her come up here.
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has published its 12th board results in its website http://upresults.nic.in, the appeared candidates can check and download their results from visiting the mentioned link.
This year around 58 lakh students had appeared in the UP Boards for both the tenth and twelfth standards that were conducted from February 7th to 28th for the 10th and February 7th to March 2nd for the 12 board. The overall pass percentage has evidently decreased by 2.43% since the last year. It was 72.43% the previous year which has decremented to 70 % this year.
Miss Tanu Tomar has emerged to be the topper with 97.83%, while the second rank was secured by Bhagyashree Upadhyay with 97.2% and the third position by Akanksha Shukla with 94.8%.
