DigiYatra, face recognition launched by Hyderabad airport

Hyderabad International Airport has set another milestone by launching its ongoing trials of Face Recognition (FR) named as DigiYatra to passengers. The move was initiated on July 1 and will be continued till July 31 according to the statement. Individual who want to get a new digital experience can register him/her between 8am to 8pm. On the first day i.e yesterday on July 1, close to 100 passengers enrolled voluntarily for DigiYatra at Hyderabad Airport to experience the new entry.To get going with face recognition(FR) enrollment, a passenger can visit any of the airporrt's registration counter with a valid government identity card. The passengers then need to fill their contact details and get their picture of  face clicked by the camera. 

 

 

Currently, the Face Recognization (FR) trials at Hyderabad Airport are only available to passengers who are traveling with hand baggage and are bound to travel to some select cities like. Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Visakhapatnam and Vijayawa.
