But yesterday the Indian team came out on the top and won the match against Australia. It was a high scoring match which was a perfect relaxing Sunday for the people and to enjoy the show.
The Indian skipper said they had a point to prove against Australia. They wanted to take the revenge of the series they lost earlier this year in their home ground from the Australian team. They showed great display of batting first. Both the Indian openers Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma set up a hunderd run partnership for the first wicket. After that skipper came in made 87 unbeaten and stayed till the end. it was a quick fire show from Hardik Pandya also who scored 48 of just 27 balls. The finals touches were made by ms dhoni and kl Rahul who made sure that India reaches the score of 350 plus.
During the match, it was a great gesture by the Indian captain when he asks the Indian fans to applaud to steve smith for his fielding actions rather than booing him. He showed great sportsmanship and is a great ambassador of the game.
It was a good performance by the Indian team.
