now Faf du Plessis is looking for new strategies to get things done and have there first win when they clash with all mighty India on the 5th of June. it will be the first match for India so they will be looking for their first win and start their campaign. he has admitted that the plan has failed miserably. he needs to find a new strategy and come with new plans quickly if they still want to be in the tournament and bounce back.
“I’ll go back and try and see how we can lift the spirits in the team,” Du Plessis said after the defeat.
“We’re playing a strong team in India, and as a team, we know we’re not good enough at the moment and we have to turn it around.”
initially, the plan b was to bring in anrich notrej an extra pace bowler in case someone gets injured. he is someone who can bowl 145km/h plus. but sadly he also got injured in the process. it was later now we have three pace bowlers injured and the attack has gone in the air. “So now you’re moving into your all-rounder territory. You have two medium pace all-rounders and then you have Chris Morris that sits in between your fast bowlers and your medium pace bowlers,” said the 34-year-old.
