What a thumping win of India against West Indies! One step away from the semi-finale

India had its match today against West Indies where it has registered its 5th consecutive win since the start of the World Cup-2019. The team chose to bat and could set a target of 268 by losing 7 wickets. The key bowler of the west indies team was Kemar Roach who had a brilliant number on his account which was 3 for 36!After the first innings, the Carribean team started in the second innings to chase the target and score a 269 in 50 overs! Alas! The team was bowled at 143 in the 35th over with the highest run made by Sunil Ambris who scored 31. The team was in a do or die situation and after getting thumped by the Indian team, West Indies is finally out of the World Cup Run!
The Indian Captain, Virat Kohli did exceptionally well, breaking the records of Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara scoring 72 runs. At the same time, MS Dhoni registered his play by scoring not out against the team helping to set a fair target! Mohammad Shami who was definitely the star bowler has 4 wickets in his bag this match! The next match of this extremely in-form team is against England which is on 30th June which would be deciding India’s final step towards semi-finale! We the fans are definitely waiting if India would continue its winning streak or will Englan team be able to put a brake to this streak!
