Stranger Things returned with its most awaited third season, and it even proved it. The series was streamed in over 40 million households in just four days of its release. As per Netflix stats, more than 18 million are already done with all the eight episodes this season have. Netflix just has started with making the viewing figures public. It's very first list was rounded in January, and was topped by Bird Box. The horror-thriller movie was watched by over 80 million people in over a month.
However, the number of people that have watched the series is a lot less than the actual number of views on the series. Netflix says that it counts a view only when someone has seen or completed 70% of a film or an episode. As of May, When They See Us, has been the most viewed series in States. But Netflix says that this label is calculated differently than that of Stranger Things. When They See Us has been the most viewed series every day since its release, while Stranger Things was calculated over the number of households.
Stranger Things have been the debut of Millie Bobby Brown and Finn Wolfhard. The series revolves around a group odd kids in Indiana dated back to 1980. There they fight against supernaturals. With the booming numbers, fans are emotional about the end of the series. But the surprise still lingers that what might come next to this.
