The last chance chance for RCB whitewashed with the rain in M.Chinnaswamy stadium. Virat lost the toss for the 10th time in 13 games. The match due to rain was reduced to a 5-over game, Rajasthan's Steve Smith won the tos and opted to field first. Virat alog with AB de villers came to open and started from the very first ball.The first over of Varun Aaron went for 23 runs which is the most expensive first over after Abu Nechim and Harbhajan Singh who went for 27 and 26 runs respectively. After that over Virat after hitting for a six and four to Shreyas Gopal got out on the 4th ball after smashing 27 of mere 7 balls.  The wickets starts falling from there on and nobody was able to smash like Virat. Shreays Gopal  took a hatrick which included big guns of RCB namely Virat Kohli, de Villers,and Marcus Stoinis.

RCB set the target of 63 for the Royals. Sanju Samson came to open in place of Ajinkya Rahane along with Liam Livingstone. Rajasthan scored 41-1in 3.2 overs when the rain showers again came and the match ended in tied.Had the rain didn't came RR would have won easily.

RCB dream of playoffs ended with this match and now they will play their last match on 4th May against Sunrisers Hyderabad where they will play for pride and can also destroy the party of Hyderabad in Playoffs. Rajasthan still have mathematical chances to get into playoffs provided the win their last match against Delhi Capitals on 4th May
