The summery month of June begins with a weekend and movie lovers always keep their eye on list of movies coming up. Month of May didn’t come up with major blockbuster movies and so now June is expected to hit with some major movies coming up. This month one of the Khan, Salman Khan is set to hit the big screen with his awaited period drama on Eid. Along with him, acting stars Tapsee Pannu, Shahid Kapoor and Ayushmann Khuranna are also set to unleash great stories to hook people on the screens.

 

BHARAT- June 5

Bharat, an official remake of the 2014 South Korean blockbuster “Ode to my Father” is set to be on the big screen this Eid. Bharat, under the directorial expertise of Ali Abbas Zafar marks the journey of a nation through the observations and experiences of a man named Bharat. Salman Khan is the man named ‘Bharat’ and plays the lead role. Along with him, Katrina Kaif is also said to be playing a significant role in the film. Apart from these two actors, the film has many roles given to big names in the industry like Jackie Shroff, Disha Patani, Tabu, Nora Fatehi, Sonali Kulkarni, Sunil Grover and Shashank Arora among others. The songs of the movie have been already out in the market and music for the same has been given by music composer duo Vishal-Shekhar.

 

KHAMOSHI: June 14

Khamoshi, a horror drama by Chakri Toleti is ready to give you a horror scream at theatres on June 14. The Vahu Bhagnani Productions stars Prabhudeva and Tamannaah Bhatia in lead roles along with Bhumika Chawla and Sanjay Suri in supporting roles. The trailer suggests that the movie is onto the nerve horror with Tamannaah’s role of being the trustee of a huge property which she wishes to donate. But, she is stopped by many people and is eventually trapped in her own property. So, to know whether she gets out of the house or succumb to the horrors inside, you must get your tickets booked for June 14.

 

GAME OVER: June 14

Ashiwin Saravana comes up with psychological thriller starring Taapsee Pannu on June 14. The film is releasing in three languages, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The trailer looks quite thrilling and promising.  As an actor like Taapsee the film seems to be quite convincing on its thrilling quotient. Game Over is about a girl ‘Swapna’ (played by Taapsee), a game designer who is on a stormy road to recovery from an incident that scared her deeply inside. So, she finds herself in midst of an evil force that has been committing serious inhuman nature crimes in the city. On a fateful night, Swapna has to face the dark force outside and within her. According to the official description of the movie, “Game Over is a saga of grit, passion and courage that illustrates a thrilling, dark and surreal journey of a girl who has lost everything but hope.”

 

KABIR SINGH: June 21

 

To no surprises by now as Kabir Singh had been trending quite a lot, the movie seems to be promising. Kabir Singh is a remake of 2017 Telugu blockbuster, ‘Arjun Reddy’ directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Kabir Singh is also under his directorial helm and Shahid Kapoor is playing the titular role in the film. The movie revolves around Kabir Singh (Shahid Kapoor) who is an anger studded surgeon. Kkabir falls in love with a medical college student Preeti (Kiara Advani). Hhowever, because of some reasons thy separate and Kabir turns into alcoholic. To watch what happens ahead of it, watch Kabir Singh on June 21.

 

Article 15: June 28

Anubhav Sinha directorial Article 15 is about Article 15 of the Indian Constitution. The mocie takes inspiration from true life events. Ayushmann Khurrana, the protagonist, is playing a police officer in the film. The film talks about the social political issues in the country where general public is also shown as the accused. The film’s tagline reads, “Farq bahut kar liya, ab farq layenge”. Thus, film becomes a centric to watch where Indian realitycan somewhere be highlighted. Along with Ayushmann Khurrana, Isha Talwar, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra and Manoj Pahwa are also playing the significant roles in the film.

 

Along with these major movies, some others are also turning up this June, like, One day: Justice Delivered (June 14), 99 Songs (June 21) and Hume Tumse Pyaar Kitna (June 28). So, this summer get your tickets booked and prepare to watch some good listed movies.
