Narendra Modi demolished Rajiv Gandhi's record in 1984 in 2019

Election results: By now, the record for getting the highest vote share was Rajiv Gandhi's name. When Lok Sabha elections were held after the assassination of then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in 1984, the Congress won a one-way victory all over the country.
Congress won more than 400 seats on its own with 48.1 percent vote share. It was only four years since the establishment of BJP and it got 7.4 percent votes. Since the days of Narendra Modi's move in the politics of the Center, elections are being recorded by the Bharatiya Janata Party. For the first time in 2014, the BJP, which has won the full majority, is now heading towards a big victory in the 2019 Modi Tsunami.
This victory is so huge that the fate of Rajiv Gandhi of 1984 has also deteriorated, which was in the peak in Indian electoral politics. According to the trend that has come so far till now, BJP has not only crossed the magical figure 272 of the absolute majority on its own but is also seen crossing 300.
In this way, the BJP looks like breaking 2014 records of 282 seats. Not so much, in terms of percentage, BJP is going ahead too much and more than 50 per cent of the vote share is seen in her account. This is the fact that no party has so far been able to touch the independence of India in the general elections. So far, the record for getting the highest vote share was Rajiv Gandhi's name.
