England Win Over Austraila to face New-Zealand in the finals of the World Cup

The hosts England registered a thumping win over Australia to qualify into the finals of the ICC Cricket World Cup. With an all-around performance easily with the bat, the bowl and in the field, the England side defeated Australia quite easily.
Jason Roy was the star of the match by smashing up 85 runs in just 65 balls. Able support was provided by Jonny Bairstow and later Joe Root and Captain Eoin Morgan. The English restricted the Australians to 220 with a solid bowling effort from Chris Woakes [3-20], Adil Rashid [3-54] and Jofra Archer [2-32]. The Australian batting attack except for Steve Smith who scored a fighting 85, Alex Carey's brave 46 and the short cameo by Mitchell Starc who scored 29 of 36 balls.
Alex Carey who scored 46 hurt his jaw while batting and was also stained with blood during his innings. Other highlights during the low scoring match were the brilliant captaincy by Eoin Morgan and his use of his bowling attack against the Aussies. After a period of 27 years, this will be England's entry into the finals.
England will now face New-Zealand in the World Cup Final on Sunday i.e the 14th of July. This will be the first time after 1996 that a new World Champion would be winning the Cup.
