Selena Gomez, a 26 year old singer-actor, didn't come to play when she made her debut in the 72nd Cannes film festival. Sel' stood under the strongest lime light of this year's Cannes for sure. She kicked the red carpet in a white Louis Vuitton silk gown, in which she for sure looked phenomenon, which she paired with a pair of shiny silver Jimmy Choo's, and the statement jewellery by Bulgari added charm to her attire. She wore a sleek makeup look with winged liner and bold red lips making her look naturally fierce. Selena did nail the fashion bracket along with that her movie, "The dead don't die", starred with big stars like Jim Murray, Tilda Swinton, and Austin Butler which also received good reviews.
But there was an another reason why her debut was so spicy apart from the success of her movie and her fashion quotient. It was because of her Instagram photo caption. She uploaded a bunch of photos from the red carpet with a caption which said
"My first time in Cannes! I'm so honored to have been a part of this movie with Jim and the whole cast. By the way Bill Murray and I are getting married."
This definitely did create a lot of buzz. Her comment section was flooded and continues to, with all kind of comments. Some of her fans are happy, some are jealous of Bill, some are disgusted, and than are the ones who couldn't think of anything but memes on the same.
Photos of her and Jim from a ball has been floating around, in which Jim seems to be whispering something in Sel's ear. Everyone's curious about this ship especially, after the surfacing of the whispering photo . Also, 68-year-old Bill, was heard saying
" I really like her... She's unusually bright. She's kind and she's natural. I'm always pleased to find some kind of pop icon who I really like."
when asked about Selena in an interview.
Well the horses can be calmed down, as she obviously was pulling a prank, by giving her gratitude filled caption a twist of humor. She posted a few more pictures from the same day, showing her excitement of being in Cannes. But the couple could still be considered as they do look totally adorable together.
