The first cut-off for the admission of undergraduates will be released on 20th June. Over 2.8 Lakh students have registered this year.
According to the varsity over 2.8 Lakh students have registered themselves till Thursday. The registration started on 14 June. The dates of cutoffs are also out.
First cutoff will be releasing on June 20th, followed by second coming out on 25th. On 29th June third cutoff will be released. Further fourth and fifth cutoff will be out on 4th and 9th July respectively.
A total number of 2,38,741 students have registered for the admission out of which 1,35,030 have completed their payments. Students coming from unreserved category are 84,937. 24,125 are from the other backward classes, 19,349 from the schedule caste, 3,964 are from schedule tribe. 2,655 students have applied for EWS Economically Weaker Section.
On Thursday, Maharaja Agrasen College hosted a open house to answer their queries. The queries were mostly about how they get the EWS certificate to which the authorities told that the receipt from government authorities will be sufficient as of now. They also said that the Delhi Government has notified various SDMs who will be issuing these certificates.
From this year the varsity has implemented the addition of 6000 seats under the new category of EWS. The total addition and the percentage of this category is 10%. Now the university has a total of 62,000 seats which was 56,000 till last year.
