The final three releases which were Eid hits, all of them feature Salman Khan in the lead, All of these three films have received positive reviews and all of these films are also the biggest hits in India as well.

 

 

1. Kick [25th July 2014]

Another Telugu remake this Salman Khan film was again a lifesaver due to the debacle of Jai Ho which underperformed at the box office due to its preachiness,  A man who always craves for a ''kick'' and adrenalin rush becomes a master thief who is chased by an efficient police officer. It was the first instance in which people loved Salman Khan doing a grey-shaded character This film was the 2nd highest grosser of the year and also the debut of producer Sajid Nadiadwala as a director. Acclaimed novelist Chetan Bhagat wrote the screenplay for the film which was appreciated by the audiences.

 

 

2. Bajrangi Bhaijaan [17th July 2015]

The Biggest Eid Blockbuster as of today this Salman Khan film received unanimous critical acclaim which was rare considering that critics gave mostly mixed to poor reception of his work. Kabir Khan who had directed Salman in Ek Tha Tiger was also the director of this film as well. A simpleton who believes staunchly in Lord Hanuman takes upon the responsibility of leaving a mute girl to her homeland Pakistan. Salman Khan and Harshaali Malhotra's acting was heralded as their career-best performances. This film currently stands as the 3rd highest-grossing Bollywood film worldwide and is Salman Khan's highest grosser as well.

 

 

3. Sultan [6th July 2016]

Again a Salman Khan-YRF film this Ali Abbas Zafar directorial also received favorable reviews from critics, A wrestler who is separated from his wife due to his negligent attitude tries to win over her by fighting in MMA championship. This film was appreciated for being grounded in reality and its action sequences as well. 

 

 

Apart from these Ghar Ho Toh Aisa, Anari, Yeshwant, and Garam Masala are some of the Eid releases which were box office successes.
