For the past four years, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi has been inviting suggestions from the public for the speech of Independence day that he speaks in the Red Fort. This year as well, he has invited his suggestions from the public through his tweet.
He has tweeted, "I am delighted to invite you all to share your valuable inputs for my speech on 15th August. Let your thoughts be heard by 130 crores Indian from the ramparts of Red Fort." An open forum has also been created on the NaMo app for receiving suggestions for the speech.
